Isla came to us from Nordicspirit kennels in Germany, in early 2018. A strong, tough girl, she has proven to be a superb trail companion. Isla regularly carries a full pack during hikes and has some experience with bikejoring. She is trustworthy off-leash and extremely bonded to her people. Isla’s first litter was born 5/6/20.
Isla is retired as of her second litter.

Styx is our keeper puppy from Isla’s second litter.
From the day she was born, Styx has been a confident, very people friendly girl.
She’s joined us on hikes, road trips and was an excellent ambassador for Yakutian Laikas at AKC Meet The Breeds in 2023.
This year, we’ll begin training her for bikejoring and getting her accustomed to carrying a weighted pack on the trails.
We’re excited to bring Styx in to our breeding program but, more importantly, we’re excited to continue our journey in this truly amazing breed, with her by our side.

Imported from Estonia at 16 weeks, Ulli has been a joy with which to live and train. She is a confident, outgoing dog who is exceptionally gentle with children, friendly with strangers and always ready for any activity.
Ulli earned most of her titles in a very short period while with her co-owner, showing the absolute best that the work ethic of a Yakutian Laika can offer. She also hauled hay bales as part of a draft duo, herded sheep, and worked her co-owner’s farm in between earning titles.
We are tremendously proud of her and look forward to many more years of partnership!
We are planning a litter from Ulli and Trieka (Caldersong’s Storyteller, the most titled dog in the breed as of 2025) in 2026
